Nobody seen Transformers (hey, I grew up in the 80's!) or Ratatouille (hey, I'm a big kid at heart!) yet?
Looking forward to both of these...
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

Saw Ratatouille. It's quite good. The kids greatly enjoyed it also. I have not seen Transformers. Not sure how I feel about the movie yet. I greatly loved the cartoon, the toys, and the original movie. Now if they bust out withe Dinobots.....Kind felt that way about Xmen when it came out. I was a huge Xman comic fan and the first movie didn't do much for me, the second was much better.

Dinobots?!! Now we're talking MJ  ;)

Yeah I was deeply disappointed when I heard that it was being made by Michael Bay but I have to confess that the trailers have got me excited.
Didn't like the first X-Men movie? I thought 1 & 2 were good, 3 was complete & utter shit.

In Cold Blood - a fantastic film starring Robert Blake. It makes a great companion to the recent film Capote.

Waking Ned Devine - wonderful.

not a huge fan of will ferrell - i think i like him better in these kinds of roles. a bit like jim carrey in eternal sunshine...
love a song for the way it makes you feel

I enjoyed 2. Hated 1 and 3. I had issues with the story and the "history" they created for the whole series. I was waaaaay to much of a fan of the comic from the time the second crew came in (Wolveriene, Storm, Colossus, etc.) through to Apocolype story line. I was happy with 2 as the movie was good and I think they did a good job based on what they started out with in 1, albiet slightly annoyed that there was so little Colossus and no HAVOK AND GAMBIT?!?!? Come on my 3 favs!

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - I loved it, plot changes and all.

A few of my friends talked me into seeing Transformers last nite. Yawn. What did WTTC say once, "Set the snooze alarm"  ;D

Granted it did have some amazing special effects.  ::)

Twenty Four Seven - can't wait for This Is England & so decided to watch all of my Shane Meadows movies again starting with this one. Enjoyed it more 2nd time round.

I watched The Last Waltz on Sunday night.  Still, oh so amazing after all these viewings.  Joni Mitchell and "Coyote" is still my favourite performance of the entire thing.

Yeah but she didn't look as good as Emmylou, did she?  ;)

*sings Evangeline in his head & dreams of Emmylou*  ::)

I'm not picky, I'll take 'em both.

AT THE SAME TIME!

Haha, I read a couple of days ago that Ms. Mitchell 'kicked about' with David Crosby, Graham Nash and Stephen Stills (not to mention James Taylor & Jackson Browne) back in the the day...why not Neil?!! Maybe she was picky about the famous people that she slept with  ;)

Thank goodness I'm not the only one....Starting to feel like the creepy old man. And sadly my Friday night plans involve me waiting in line for like 3 fucking hours for Book 7 and I plan to stay up all night and read. This has bee a LONG time coming and I've been there since Book 1.

haha have fun!! i'm looking forward to reading the newie, but i have to get no. 6 first....

i also saw harry potter, and really enjoyed it! i didn't mind that they chopped bits out, after all it was the longest book, and i don't think it really disrupted the storyline too much...

it is weird watching these kids grow up (literally) on screen infront of you though...
