Sexy Beast, that was a good one

If you havent seen it, a good Ben Kingsley movie that I just saw was 'You Kill Me'. He plays an alcoholic assassin whose sent across the country to sober up. Kingsleys great in it
The thing is, Bob, it's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care. - Peter Gibbons

Sexy Beast is a classic!

Saw lots of movies the last couple of months...here are some that I remember:

Kung Fu Panda - best non-Pixar animated movie yet. Stunning animation & very funny.

Wall.E - what can I say...it's Pixar for goodness sake!

Incredible Hulk - much better than I expected! Ed Norton was very good, very enjoyable Popcorn movie.

Wanted - I like James McAvoy, thought I'd give this a shot...big mistake!

Happy Go Lucky - not his best but I've yet to watch a Mike Leigh film that I didn't love.

Still haven't seen Dark Knight  :-[

God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

I'm currently in the middle of Bergman's faith trilogy--"Winter Light", "Through a Glass Darkly", and "The Silence".  I really love this guy.
Sittin' here with me and mine.  All wrapped up in a bottle of wine.

Tender Mercies - good little movie from a few years back about a washed up country musician starring Robert Duvall (won oscar for best actor!) & wait for it...Wilford Brimley!!! Surely that calls for a salute Tracy?

Who doesn't love old movie posters?

God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

'Serpico' with Al Pacino

Never seen it before. Loved it.

Fascinating Oscar-winning documentary about the government of the United States and its treatment of supposed terrorists.  Absolutely harrowing, saddening and enraging.

I think it should be seen by all - I gained quite a bit of respect for John Mccain at one point in the film, only to lose it--and even more--shortly thereafter.

Penelope - curious little film starring Christina Ricci & James McAvoy: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0472160/
Wanted to be a Tim Burton style fairytale...didn't quite succeed but still entertaining in parts.
Also starred Richard E. Grant, made me think it's time I watched Withnail & I again...
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

The Minutemen - We Jam Econo

wonderful movie about the Minutemen. I knew a little about them but was unaware of how much they embraced their lives through the music and how many people worship them.
