What Movie Did You Just See?

Garden State, again.
Great movie, definitly a lot better than Zach Braff's other movie "The Last Kiss", and, as already mentioned somewhere, amazing soundtrack.

I actually liked Last Kiss a lot, and I rarely make it through a romantic comedy on the even more rare occasion I actually watch one.

Garden State was better though

Urrgh! Rachel Bilson's lack of acting abilites is nails on a chalk board! That film was a complete was waste of my time and movie rentals because of her. She can ONLY play one character and that is Summer from the O.C.

I did see Changling (Eastwood) and that was entertaining. Clint never misses.

I hear Gran Torino isnt too good

Gran Torino isn't a miss, that's for sure.

The thing with Tornino is Clint is the only really good actor. Everybody else pales in comparison. The story is kind of goofy, but it is worth the watch just to see Clint being a grumpy racist old man the whole movie. It's like Dirty Harry 6.

I also thought Flags of Our Fathers was below his standards as well. Maybe it's just because he released Letter from Iwo Jima at the same time and that was beautiful.

I thought Flags of our Fathers was horrible.

Im sure Torino isnt worse than that

She really wasnt in it all that much from what I remember.

Another Braff movie that was stupid but I found hilarious was The Ex. Jason Bateman killed me in that movie  ;D

Fast Food Nation was a good movie. I don't know if someone has mentioned it, but im not searching because im lazy right now. If you can find this movie somewhere, i recommend trying it out. It may not entertain you, but it will at least be interesting as im sure everyone who reads this has had fast food before.

I liked this movie a good bit. I dont think it was ever mentioned here before but it was a pretty good movie.

Its pretty much a Alejandro Inarritu movie about the fast food biz  :D

A slow burner but worth catching. Will Oldham plays the character 'Icky' (for 4 minutes).

Role Models was probably my favorite comedy from last year, loved it. I wouldnt say she makes the movie, because there is just so many different funny parts to it (the LAIRD stuff, camping trip, etc).

Jane Lynch seems to be all over the place these days. Shes been in a few of these comedies, she has a part on Two and a Half Men as a psychiatrist, and shes definitely funny every time.

The Thing. I loved the Antarctic setting; it was haunting and spooky. Lots of obscure and creative gore. Other than being disgusted and intrigued by huskies morphing into aliens, I wasn't as scared as I thought I would be. But I definitely loved it.
