i know its a long shot... but main acts can be dropped for festivals just a couple weeks before the gigs... Aretha Franklin was dropped from Jazzfest and was replaced by Neil Young ;D

I'll still be a roo '09, I have to disagree with you Penny the lineup is really strong, 2 Phish Gigs, Wilco, Gomez, Al Green, NIN, Springsteen, Booker T and the DBTs(who I just saw at Jazzfest and they were phenomenal) David Byrne, Elvis Costello, Erykah Badu.. just to name a few that come to mind.... so in closing...you'z trippin sizzzzsta :D

you dont like them, so it probably doesnt matter to you, but the recent shows from hampton did not sound like phish of the last 10 years. much less jamming, less spacey stuff, less "noodling". they just rocked out like they were in prime 1994 form.
