I'm thinking this is one of the best shows so far in 2011, tied with Unstaged (or better?).  The "taping" is awesome.  Any chance we saw some pro video equipment at this show?  'Twould make for a lovely DVD, I should think.  Wishful thinking...

I did not see pro video going on, but I wasn't looking for it either. I certainly don't recall anyone with video cameras roaming the stage.

The still shots with the really nice angles that surfaced earlier were taken, I believe, by someone on behalf of WXRT, the radio station that streamed the concert - these photos were also streamed live as the show progressed. You can still grab them here, if you want to (I have grabbed them all and used the one of Jim getting some serious air for my iTunes "album" image of the music stream): http://wxrt.radio.com/my-morning-jacket-live-from-chicago/

(As each of the photos appear, just click on them and drag them to a folder on your desktop. That's how I did it on my Mac anyway. LOTS of clicking and dragging, but someday I will appreciate having the images from the concert I attended.)

Hey All! - Absolutely great time Friday night.  I can't say I've seen a better show.  Do you all just think it was a coincidence that Outta My System was the only new song that didn't get played?

I was flying solo as the wife was at home prepping for the birth of our second son (due in 10 days).  The only downer is that this is the only MMJ show I've seen that I wasn't able to snag a poster for.  If anyone happens to have an extra they need to get rid of, I'd love to take it off your hands, of course after a nominal fee!

The download from the Steam Engine site has already been converted to lossy mp3 files.

If you just want to have smaller files to save space, or will be listening only on your iPod, or just don't care that much, you might want to opt for the mp3s.
I'd highly recommend the FLAC unless you are only ever going to listen to it from an iPod. Lossless is pretty important when you're already working with fairly low fidelity, and if HD space is an issue whatsoever for you then you need to catch up. Hard drives are CHEAP.

Thanks, this show is legendary.  I HIGHLY recommend the flac version.  "The Radar Watches Me From Above, Shouting Down - I Hope You Make It On This Earth."
