It is almost that time. Maybe the rain will detour the rednecks and panhandlers. I am guessing if Zac Brown guests it will be on something by The Band as they both cover them religously. How abou an Allman Brothers cover since we are in Georgia. I would also think Jim will play a song off his new album. Solo or with the band? I am not too familiar with Marta. Can one just buy a day ticket at any location?

Clarkwork

I'm betting they do The Night They Drove Ole Dixie Down!
If you don't know for yourself, how could you ever know for me....

I would actually love that a lot. The suspense is killing me because anything could happen. I mean, when's the last time ever really opened for a band like this? It's weird, and it's awesome too because of some underlying possibilities. They may kick out a total southern vibe to coincide with the ZBB deal, which would definitely include TTF & AD tracks. It doesn't matter, I'm stoked no matter what!  :cheesy:

2 years ago they played the ZBB music fest and ZBB opened for them. Was a good show. I'm excited to go.

In regards to the setlist, especially a festival setlist, a few rarities aren't entirely out of the question

According to my brief research, Beale Street got The Way That He Sings and Phone Went West, Jazz Fest also got The Way That He Sings, Werchter got The Bear and full Run Thru, Hop Farm got Phone and Librarian, Newport got The Way and Bermuda Highway. Maybe if there's a song a song or two we'd all like to hear, a few twitter requests to the band will have them incorporate it into their set considering it may be their only concert until next spring.  :drum:

Maybe I'm getting jaded, but TWTHS isn't a treat in the way that its referred to here. I think it's the 2nd most played song they have, the first being OBH.

I've only been to five shows and Ive never heard it played, but Ive only been listening to the band since 2010 which explains how I missed that 'Wonderful' is a much older song.

If the band does play a typical festival setlist, I hope they at least throw in a few rarities for us deeply devoted folk. War Begun, I Will Sing You Songs, They Ran, Bermuda Highway, Xmas Curtain, Hopefully, Nashville To Kentucky...something. I keep missing these at the shows I attend and usually only get to hear the Wordless', Circuitals, and the Gideons. PLEASE PLEASE TENNESSEE FIRE OR AT DAWN!!!! :cheesy:

Does anyone know what their setlist was?

easy way

"They got a place down Kentucky!" is the first line of lyrics... "Oh, Atlanta!"
Bo would KILL this tune

Little Feat Oh Atlanta
"the time is with the month of winter solstice, when the change is due to come..."

I am expecting a heavy dose of all of the heavy hitters, OBH, Gideon, I'm
Amazed, Wonderful, Phone Went West, but hopefully they'll pull out at least one or two rare plays like The Bear, maybe a Remants or something like that.

Any chance there might be a Poster from this show?  Probably not, but I would bring my poster tube if this is the case since i'm flying int.

Regrets for some, opportunities for others. Just saying, I'm not planning anything of the sort except to not get arrested at Coca Cola World.
Wait. Theres some place called Coca Cola World? Jesus Christ. Waitress!

First of all, they are so not playing this.  Second of all, if they did...I would slit my wrists for having not been there!

No doubt they are playing something with a Kentucky reference...I am guessing Nashville to Kentucky over I Will Be There When You Die?  Or maybe neither?  There are going to be 150,000 people there and if they couldn't spice up the Jazz Fest setlist I don't see how this one is going to be any juicier.  But then again, what the fuck do I know?  I'm talking out both sides of my mouth right now.  I feel like Ed Grimley when he's talking about meeting Pat Sajak.  I have no idea what is going on.

But what I do know is that I am like a kid on Xmas eve.  Seeing MMJ in my living room tomorrow makes me one happy camper!  Last show was Greek in Sept so I am dying to see the boys, SEE being the operative word!
anything + reverb always = better

66 degrees today & clear skies by lunchtime.  TONIGHT IS GONNA BE FUCKING AWESOME!!!
Lookin' for a appropriate cover & some love being thrown the Cardinal's way.

Psyched that my kids all get to go.  My middle boy knows all the words to the last 2 records...  Hoping for a heavy does of those.  Black Metal, Victory Dance, TIG2S 1&2,
(not my favorites but I've seen em 25 times so this one is for the kiddos!)
Would LOVE to hear The Bear or Honest Man!
:drum:

ps:  I'll be recording the whole set for sharing.
O, How time flies, with crystal clear eyes.  But it's cold, it's cold, when you're ending with diamond eyes.

Is Seth on line yet? Whippy? Fully?

Have a great time especially with your kids.  It's so cool to have more than one generation into MMJ.
What time do they come on?  Can't wait to see your recording.  To all the roll call fans going, especially you dear fully - have a great time and drink a beer/shot for me or a toke............just saying : :

i know this is streaming, but the show is put on by uverse.  does anyone know if it will be broadcast on uverse or just online?

worst weekend ever.  my cards are in the final four and my band is playing on friday.  i HAVE to be in orlando from sun-fri next week for work, so what do i do?  flight from orlando to atl on monday afternoon to watch the national championship then back to orlando at 7 AM on tuesday morning.

its my only option, i would much prefer to be in the ville when the cards win, but i guess being there is the next best thing.
out go the lights it begins

sweatboard
