Well if MMJ and Wilco are playing literally 5 minutes from where I live, I may be out for Newport. Shit what do I do?

Wait for more info tomorrow at noon?

Tough decision, but I'd probably choose MMJ and Wilco.

plus I'd probably go see them in Hoboken and Camden as well.
I NEEDED IT MOST WHENEVER tbh

Decisions, decisions.

I'm gonna try for the two Florida shows if I can, and then Hoboken, and Camden, and maybe another. Really depends on how the shows will play out as far as sets go.

Camden?  i hate Camden.

Then maybe Newport, since you have the tickets and are planning on seeing them elsewhere?
I wonder why we listen to poets when nobody gives a fuck

Has anyone been to the Toyota Center in Bridgeview (Chicago) recently? How was the sound?

I ask because I have been to one concert there right when it opened (2006) and the sound was absolutely horrible. We literally left the show and listened to the rest of the Dave Matthews show by our car as it sounded better outside of the venue. The venue is primarily a soccer pitch. I wonder if the sound has been improved since then.

Let me know!
Mona Lisa must'a had the highway blues, you can tell by the way she smiles.

Okay so something more like this?

Doors at 4

Richard Thompson - 4:30 to 5:15
My Morning Jacket - 5:45 to 7:15
Wilco - 7:45 to 9:15
Dylan - 9:45 to 11:30

Not sure how else they would do it.  I don't see Dylan going longer than MMJ or Wilco, but I think the night would end around 11:30.

Seriously man, deep breaths. You're going to give yourself a friggin heart attack.

Why speculate or worry about any of this? Just let the info come out as it will. No need for the wishful thinking. It's not going to help,IMO.  Plan on Dylan playing the longest set, and closing every show. If it works out different and we get MMJ closing some shows, it's a bonus, and we'll all be really happy. If not we still get to see them in what was supposed to be an off year.

Also, Nashville and Memphis and maybe Atlanta! Yay for the south!!

Agreed! And my month long Governor's School (which has totally screwed up many show plans) ends the day before! FINALLY the stars have aligned!

Also, even on an "off" year, the guys are still working as hard as ever touring! Just another reason to love them

That's all the same weekend of Newport, Hoboken Friday, Wantagh Saturday and Camden Sunday. It's either Newport, or a combo of those, at least Hoboken and Wantagh...

I hate the town, not the venue or party lot. I've seen some pretty good shows there.

Even though it's on a Sunday, it's close to home, so can't really pass up a chance to see MMJ in N.J.

ok, the venue isn't too bad.  City sucks, parking really sucks there. $25 to park in their lot????  I try and avoid it.  Last time i was there was in 2010 to see the Gorillaz.  I'll have to think about this one.

Yeah, the $25 to park sucks, but at least you know your car will be there after the show, and you don't have to walk around Camden.  pennies on the dollar to me for the piece of mind.

A mid week show sucks, but really hoping Haldon can swing it and get to West Palm.

I just don't think they'll announce that info, and I am curious as to what everyone else thinks because of that.  I don't think we will know how long the sets will be until the tour starts.  If MMJ doesn't get more than an hour and a half, and if tickets are crazy expensive, I'll have to debate whether I actually want to drop that cash.  I suppose I can always get a lawn seat, but lawn is typically hard seeing and not quite as much fun.

Exactly my point.  We most likely won't know until the tour starts. :

It doesn't matter what you or anyone else thinks the sets will look like because it will just be speculation. Don't base buying tix on any info unless it comes from CC, MMJ, Dylan or Wilco.

Pick a show you want to see, and grab a ticket. If they end up rotating or we find out if and when they will do a longer set, and you can make that show too, great. Grab a ticket then. Basing ticket purchases on what anyone here thinks the shows/sets will be like is risky if cash is tight.

I'm going to the ones close to me, and will do a road trip if  there is a rotation. If not, I'm happy with what I can get to easily.

So we've got the lineup and the dates figured out, the final piece to this puzzle is the price. Money will most likely determine how many shows I see but I've got my eye on the Jersey, New York, Jersey run.

EverythingChanges

Tomorrow's news at noon looks like it will be the dates and pricing then, since the dates seemed to have been premature.
