I really dig St Paul and the Broken Bones, but Friday is going to be such an action-packed day, I don't know if I'll make the late show. I'm actually kinda glad Friday doesn't have any super unique can't miss shows, because I'll probably be a tired, sweaty mess after two hours of Outkast.

Haha, I agree.  If there aren't any better late night shows, I will be hitting up the St. Paul one.  I kinda hope they announce all of them soon.  There is no point in buying a ticket to a late night show with more waiting to be announced.

Any complaints?

I'm pretty happy with how they have spread out Friday.  I can at least see part of a set from every band I want to see.

Weird that Ray has 15 extra minutes of play time than Beck on Sunday.  Doesn't bother me any, but I found that to be sort of surprising.

I think it's pretty weak the headliners only play until 11 every night.

Fully

only slight complaint is that out of all the bands playing, there's really only 4 that I LOVE and am truly excited about, and 2 of them will overlap by 15-20 minutes. I will probably choose to miss the end of Jason Isbell's set to catch the beginning of Band of Horses...only bc I have seen Isbell 5-6 times and only seen BoH once.

We were speculating if any members of MMJ will show up in anyone's set. Band of Horses would be a good show to join in...

I doubt they would, unless it is Patrick showing up for BoH.

I'm still waiting on the other late night show announcements.  Let's get this ball moving Forecastle!

There's a rumour of Spanish Gold doing a late-night on Saturday with Ray Lamontagne and Jenny Lewis. Spanish Gold has three dates for Forecastle listed on their site, and the one on the 20th is the only one with an event description -- "with Ray LaMontagne and Jenny Lewis". Could be a stretch but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough!

That sounds crazy! Sign me up! Three of the acts my girlfriend and I are most excited about.

Moon Taxi was hinted last night via the Forecastle facebook page for a late night spot.  SIGN ME UP!  These guys are my favorite band behind MMJ of course.

Really? I guess I'll have to give them a listen and see. They were at the festival last year, but I didn't catch their set. I'm still holding out on late night show tickets until they announce everything.

Looks like aj is a happy clam... :bathtub man:

The fact that my heart's beating is all the proof you need.

I'm digging Moon Taxi so far. I didn't realize their live stuff was jammy.

Dr. Dog would be a great late night show treat as well. I just wish they'd hurry up and announce everything already.

Ray LaMontagne and Jenny Lewis have shows that Friday and Saturday in Georgia and Alabama so that late night show sounds impossible. Oh well  :undecided:

Damn! I'm hoping for one final late-night option. But Forecastle has been eerily quiet on the prospect of another after-hours addition. Fingers crossed...

I think they would have said that there are no more late night shows if that were true.  I sure hope so anyways.

I'm starting to question if there is another Saturday late-night option in the cards. The normally very-quick-to-reply Forecastle Twitter account has been completely silent on anyone who has asked about another late show.

I'm just hoping they're saving the best for last. Maybe it's a Roo artist and they have to wait until Roo passes to announce?
