I'm a deluxe member and was able to get amazing seats for MPP this morning.  I was never prompted for Paypal or anything other payment option.  Groundcontrol automatically used the my credit card on file that I used to renew my membership last week.
Honestly, this was the easiest pre-sale I've done with them.  Sorry you guys had such issues.
Good luck.

Everyone who purchased memberships last week was fine. It was the people who purchased two-year Roll Call memberships last year or the people who purchased four-month memberships in January. Wonderful Union did not upgrade those accounts to give them presale access despite them being active subscriptions which were paid in full.

Not entirely true: I have the 2014/2015 Extendomatic Roll Call membership.  I did nothing special and was directed right to the RR show at 10a mtn time from the Events page. Granted, you had to scroll down to see the ticket selector, I nearly missed it and didn't realize I was where I needed to be because the top half of the page didn't appear to change.

They just sent me an email saying they will be crediting me $5 and adding 4 months of membership.

I do not see how that rectifies the situation. I am all for getting money back, but $5?? Thanks...

Also, adding 4 months while great, I still will probably be missing out on 2015 roll call vinyl as the whole language they used when extending at the end of last year was very confusing.

Everything about this post is ditto for me.  Especially the scrolling down part.  I refreshed the page and the top looked exactly the same so I didn't think it refreshed, and then I refreshed again, and actually thought to scroll down.  But yeah, I hate seeing other bonus roll callers got the shaft while others like me slipped through fine.

Did you do the pre-order on the album, too? In other words, did you purchase the "bundle" that was referred to last week? Or was it a standalone RC membership?

Regardless, I'm sorry you went through this.

Crayton, thanks for your post. I've now heard from at least six other people that there were issues with payment options, so I'm glad to know it wasn't just me. WU support made me feel as though I had missed the obvious, when all I missed were front row tix to Atlanta and a chance to avoid TM fees and the onsale onslaught this weekend.

I suspect you had mountain time working in your favor! I think accounts were reset around 11AM. Was there anyone who had prior RC memberships that logged on at 10 eastern and bought tickets no problem?

Nope, just a standalone membership. In retrospect, I should have never have bought this four-month membership and should have just waited until the bundles came out. I thought keeping my membership active and renewed would HELP during presales, not be the reason I missed out on tickets.

There was no way for you to know that purchasing the four-month membership would hamper you in any way.

That is really unacceptable and frustrating. I'm sorry it happened to you.

I have the extended RC membership and was able to buy tix at 10 eastern.   However I was surprised at not having any payment options but fortunately the card they had on file was valid.

Totally agree Sass. It really is unacceptable.

Unfortunately, it seems there's always some type of problems with the presales, and they always seem to be different. Just once I'd like to see them go off without a hitch. Not counting on it, but it sure would be nice.

Interesting! Did you have a redeem code or anything? I wonder why some people were shit outta luck and some went through no problem?

WU/Ground(Ctrl) does a fair amount of gaslighting to cover their mistakes. I had to use the Wayback Machine on Archive.org to get them to ship me my Roll Call 7" this year. They told me I wasn't supposed to get one.

No code. I was signed in and kept refreshing.  I did click on Athens tix at exactly 10:00:04 and got shut out though.  I know several "old" Roll Callers who did just fine and many who just got shut out - not with the reset issues you are talking about though.    I'm sorry!!

EverythingChanges

I accidentally emailed Wonderful Union (that name is a joke) this morning with my work email, because I was on my work computer with Outlook configured to my work email.  So Adam from Wonderful Union emails me later today to say that I couldn't buy tickets, because I was logging in with the wrong email.  They just ASSUMED that I had used my work email instead of my personal email to login to Roll Call.  WTF!? No. I was logged in long before 10AM with my personal email (I also logged off and on with my correct credentials multiple times throughout the start of the sale).  I could view my account and verify that I had a roll call membership.  So now Wonderful Union is blowing me off by assuming that I didn't know how to log in.  Even though Allison emailed me saying that she reset my account (which is what solved my issue, though it was too little too late by that time).

Looks like the fans who bought Roll Call last year got F@&%#*!

Prepare for this whole thread to be deleted.  That seems to be the trend nowadays.

Also, let me add this:

I work in an IT environment.  We deal with tickets every single day.  I NEVER close a ticket without confirming with the client that his/her needs have been met.  Wonderful Union have closed two tickets on me today and have blamed this process on user error instead of owning up to their mistakes.  Outrageous!

They have done that to me every time I have opened a ticket. When we got the 4 month roll call extension it didn't work for me. They just said, "it's a browser issue", then closed the ticket. I had to file another ticket as they didn't actually help me.

They don't show up under 'orders' in your roll call account?
