Gilt City Presale

#teamFully forever but also hedged my bets with some Gilt City tix after the utter disappointment of the Roll Call sale. Never again!

I'm a roll call long-timer and totally missed the presale due to a last minute trip to snowshoe WV which is a complete dead zone- and I forgot frankly. My calendar reminder was no use since I didn't even carry my phone.

Anyways I got in on this Gilt city deal. Went through them for sound check in atl in past so yeah it's not cool.  But I need my tix.
No seat assignments- was told I would get an email on Sat.  I've been patiently waiting.......

I did score pit tix today to st Augustine thru TM app.  Secured a few.

Thanks for reaching out! Tickets will be held under purchaser name at box office and available for pick-up on day of performance where you will have access to your seat numbers at this point. All your tickets were purchased in one transaction so it will be seats all together.

just curious, when will we know our exact seat locations? will we be notified beforehand, or will we find out only when we hand over our vouchers at will call the day of the show?

Just chatted with Paddy at GC...sounds like there's conflicting info with what others have posted...this could turn out bad.

Paddy : I'm so sorry for any confusion. You will have the tickets for the event and to redeem the download, however they will not be sent until before it starts.

John: So the voucher will be sent by May 4 when the digital download of the album occurs?

Paddy : Exactly. It will be with you a day or two before that to ensure you can avail of the digital download. Once again, I apologise sincerely for any confusion.

John: Ok. And the voucher will include my seat location?

Paddy : Your ticketmaster tickets will be included, yes, so you will have all of the information at that stage.

I spoke with someone yesterday at Gilt and they said the voucher should come in March 20th... sounds like there is a lot of conflicting info.

Email confirmation from Gilt says "your voucher, complete with redemption instructions, will be emailed to you within a few hours."

According to "Megan," vouchers will be emailed by 3/20.

Language I posted above is a "generic message that is sent out with all...vouchers."

These are Ticketmaster tickets. You'll get a separate voucher for each ticket purchased. Download instructions will be on the voucher, but not redeemable until May 4.

I asked Megan to make sure customer service all has the same info as people are getting conflicting reports.

[easy way]

We received email confirmation immediately followed by a voucher for each ticket. Each voucher has an identification code. This is how the voucher reads:

"To redeem, print your voucher and bring it, along with a valid photo ID, to the box office on the day of the show. Tickets will be under purchasers name at will call."

*the download instructions are for the album download redeemable on May. 4*

yeah, it seems weird not knowing exactly where i'm sitting until 1 hour before show time, but i'm thrilled to sit in any of those spots.  let's hope for no unpleasant surprises at will call.

so would it be all that difficult for the fine folks at the fox theater to send us a confirmation e-mail once they have "filled the seats?" the shows are still almost 5 months away, surely someone could find the time between now and then to let us know our seat assignment.

makes one wonder if these seats are really going to be assigned before day of show. is it possible the sooner you get to the will call window, the better your seats will be? a bit more transparency would be welcome.

Good points, and I agree about the transparency. I'd also be real interested to know exactly how many tix Gilt got per show.

My thinking is that the list would be in chronological order based on the time you purchased through Gilt. The first one purchasing gets the best seat. I did read where they said all their seats would be together, so it might not really matter all that much depending on the number of them.

I would think for shows that offered both GA, and reserved the first ones to purchase would get the GA, and then they move on to filling the seats.
