I am most happy that you are not a heinous B#%(* Tracy and I have smiled while reading everything you said.  I feel much the same way as you about music (though not Van Halen <- that was a cheap shot I know) as hard as that may be for you to conceive.  I go to have my soul touched just the same.  But you know, if we can agree that their is a soul, an immaterial entity, or I guess, a non-entity, can we not agree that there can be different levels that it can be effected on, and that some nights are better than others.   That's really all that I am saying.  I have a right to gripe.  Debates about music are one of my favorite things in the world.  I am glad you have shared.
