QuoteI hate youtube... the sync of audio and video is not right after they convert it to their format. As well as the fact it looks like shit now...

I know what you mean! Ck out my one and only youtube submission under bonnaroo lowdown which I think the video portion is decent but Jim's vocals are way out of synch. which makes it suck ass.

Yeah.  I've enjoyed posting and reading posts here for the last several years.  I'm not sure why there's been so much shittiness lately, but  I don't really want to be a part of it anymore.  Guess I'm just not rock and roll enough.

So goodbye to those of you who deserve it, and fuck off to those of you who deserve that.

PLEASE do not leave!  :'(  You have been a very important contributing member since I have joined and I have always enjoyed reading and respecting your submissions.

there is no need to leave!  come on man, let's just put this to rest and move on.  agree to disagree and all that shit.  i think we have learned one thing.  louisville gardens definately needs to get a better ventalation system.   And I hope Scott sticks around as well.  How 'bout that Louisville Cardinal basketball team, huh?
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

Alright this is my first post long time fan.  To be honest I was slightly dissapointed with the show. This is my third Jacket show but my other two shows were Bonnaroo 05 and 06. I honestly dont think I will ever see a better show than Bonna 06.  This was my first Garden's show and I loved the venue. I loved the old style.

What I wanted to ask was.....How many people did you see pass out. 5 people passed out around me, (just dropped to the floor) two of them were in my friends group....I saw some other friends there later who said they also saw several people pass out. I have been to several concerts and seen several people pass out but not this many at one show...It kind of gave me bad vibes all night after my good friend passed out 5 minutes into Wax Fang.

Sorry to hear that - passed out from what? Heat? drugs? drunk? smoke?

confuseddonkey

I did see two people go down
but, in all honesty, they were both shithammered from one substance or another

the broken blood vessels in my eyes make me look like i'm a crackhead...still have them since the show!

lighten up
opinions will differ, its the way life works

ive been to four shows now, and the show at the gardens def. isnt my favorite, but it wasnt terrible either.  i say this only because of amount of younger kids that we there annoying me. i blame that on the fact that the university of louisville had let out for thanksgiving break, so alot of people were out of town. the sound wasnt that good, but thats not their fault. the venue isnt the greatest by far. i was in the front row in front of two tone and carl. i was also disappoint by the lack of enthusiasm of the crowd. alot of them didnt really know the songs. it just seemed like the crowd, on a general consensus, was juvenile.
the opener with the white curtain blew me away, by the time the curtain fell, my heart was ready to explode.
run thru, was for sure the best performance. completely mind melting. nashville to kentucky was also incredible, but funny thing is, the crowd didnt really seem to know the song and were confused. at least everyone surrounding me appeared to be. i screamed out really loud when they started playing it, expecting everyone else to as well, but everyone just kinda stood there in confusion.
i heard people complaining about the smoke. i didnt have a problem with it, but honestly, what can you expect?
over all it was terrific. the show at the ryman was over-all better. but two tone and jim coming over and acknowledging my enthusiasm by leaning over and rocking out with me proved that they truly are the greatest band. period.

God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

Did anyone notice that Danny Cash was on the keys for the last song with Wax Fang?

I notice a keyboard player and thought it was just a band of three but not that it was cash... that's nice!

a couple issues i had with the louisville performace.

1) they have been playing the same setlist ever since Z was released, mix it up for gods sake! no surprises, no covers, nothing special there.

2) acoutics were awful due to the awful choice of venue. that place was disgusting. it  was to big and to empty and too many drunk jackass talking through the whole show.

3) i still don't understand why mmj won't play 2 nights at the Palace or headlinders yet they play 3 fucking nights in san francisco. am i the only one who prefers to seem them in a smaller club?

4) the all ages thing was a joke. fucking grade school kids running around and shit.

I didn't go, that's basically why, the Louisville Gardens is a horrible venue.  I think it's the worst place in Louisville to see a show.

2 nights at the Palace would be freaking AWESOME!  You are definitely not the only person who would prefer to see them in a smaller venue.  The sound is always better in those smaller places and it definitely seems more intimate.
