I just saw MMJ on 1/31 in our nation's capitol, DC.  I'm blown away.  As far as I'm concerned One Big Holiday & Dancefloors are two of the three best songs I've ever heard in person or on disc (the third being Tennessee Jed by the Dead).  I grew up in CA in the 60's/70's.  My concert credentials include:  Zepelin, The Dead, The Who, Jethro Tull, Captain Beefheart/Magic Band, Pink Floyd, Blue Cheer (the band, not the tab), The 13th Floor Elevators, and (God love them)The Seeds.  MMJ would have headlined any of those shows.  I've been bitching about the death of R&R (I just didn't look hard enough).  When I saw these guys at the 9:30 Club, it brought it all back!!!

Completely agree.  They bring something that's been missing (musically) for me since Garcia went West.  Watching them live is a whole new thing.  keep them coming!
