no offense, but shut the fuck up with that bullshit.  My Morning Jacket fucks Iron Maiden and their fans both sonically and sexually.  I'm afraid there is simply no comparison to the true passion this fanbase holds.  

that being said.  this place would be more active if more people knew about it.  all the cool stuff on here is hidden in secret little places, overlooked by a lot of people.  some don't even know about the setlist archive,show archive, and video archive.  but n00bs would easily find things out quicker if they posted more.  people are afraid they'll sound stupid for not knowing enough about MMJ I believe.  luckily for them this fanbase is nice to new people and embrace them so they shouldn't be scared.  I'm kinda stoned but that's what some n00b said on another board.  something to the effect of "I don't want to sound like an idiot talking about a band I don't know anything about", to be not knowing stuff is the fun part.  surprises are awesome.  

Jazzfest should be called Jizzfest this year, because that's what it's going to be once My Morning Jacket takes the stage.

I'll give props to Jersey! Lived at the beach in Margate for many years...it was wonderful and I miss it.  :)

I heard jersey drinking water turned a cat into a turtle and the turtle multiplied.  after awhile it bred and an ancient karate rat raised them to be known as the teenage mutant ninja turtles.  they fault a grueling gauntlet of feverish foes like bebop and rocksteady, shredder and of course krang.  be weary precious solider for steeds a mighty gray, a gust will only take you so far.  but alas, mtv has brainwashed me once again.  at least I can still break dance.

Please remember: all but one of the Jersey Shore cast are from NY, and the one from NJ quit the show and went home. Guidos are most typically from Staten Island, the dingleberry of the tri-state area.

Also, NJ is consistently ranked as one of the top 10 greenest states.

Areas outside of NYC and the airport are pretty toxic as well so I don't blame people for thinking its dirty.  Lots of parts come off that way, but there really are parts that make it "the garden state"

OH my goodness, the shore does NOT suck......there are lots of lovely beaches...have you been to Monmouth Beach ? Spring Lake?  Avon?  All lovely with perfectly civilized beachgoers...you must be referring to other areas, where again, most folks are not from jersey....

Granted -- Newark airport and the turnpike are gross and over industrialized, but apart from that, jersey has everything.....beaches, lakes, mountains, lovely little hamlets, awesome parks etc etc...so please, can we end all of this nonsense before i get all "jersey" on your asses
