I'll be making the drive up from Boston.  No opener, eh?  They hitting the stage at 7:30?

You gotta try to meet up with the forum faithful.  We band together and take care of each other.  I haven't met one asshole or bitch yet.

Well, I feel a bit foolish with three posts in a row, but this one doesn't need its own thread.

I was outside admiring the clear, star filled skies, when I heard "Hoot Hoot Hoot" in the woods.  Moments later, a massive owl flew out of the trees, across my front yard, through the beam of the outdoor flood lights, and directly overhead.  Its wingspan must've been 4 feet!  I think it was Jim and the boys, headed to Portland after completing the taping of the Jimmy Fallon show.  I was gonna hop on for a ride, but I'm a big guy and didn't want to hurt it.  Amazing, beautiful, prophetic? :D

Yac, thats amazing cause the owls were going off last night at my house here in Maine too!  They were eerie and calming at the same time.

Why is it hurricanes like MMJ?  This will be our second show in a deluge, Boston was a torrential downpour.  At least we will be high and dry in the State!

I will definitely try. Norms is a great place for food and suds and a great meeting spot. The issue might be timing. Am working a full day here in the Boston suburbs and then fighting traffic north. I want to try to get up close too, so I want to be in by 6:30 ish? How hard do you think it will be to get up close?

Anyway, I would love to raise a glass with y'all at Norms and will certainly try my best!

Cool...saw that and that's the plan.  Might get tight...I should hit the road no later than 3:30, so fingers crossed on traffic.  Hopefully there by 5:30.

Me and the wife, Michele, will meet in Concord around 1pm, so hope to be in Portland by 3pm.  We're staying next door to the State Theatre at the Eastland Park Hotel.  We'll be at Norm's, too.

After I posted my owl story (see above) I went outside once more and got a shooting star.  Cosmic.

Hey everyone,

I'm making a stab in the dark to see if anyone has an extra ticket for tomorrow's show.

I'm willing to go above face value, but don't especially want to go as high as tickets are on ebay.

Any help would be appreciated.

Enjoy the show...

JKA45

I'll be there.  And as of right now, I have one extra ticket if someone is looking.
