love a song for the way it makes you feel

IHL

The Greatest - with Muhammad Ali (a personnal favourite)

Has anyone seen "In Search of America"?  Very campy(seriously).  It's "The Dude's second movie.  Man, is Bridges young! I just bought it at half-price books and we really had a good laugh.  It sure takes you back to the '70's.

die hard 4.0 - lives up to usual dh standards... justin long is good (and cute) as a computer nerd (wonder if he feels he's getting typecast)

day watch (2nd film in the trilogy after nightwatch) - REALLY REALLY GOOD

Well, it's interesting, to say the least.  The DVD we had was really a grainy transfer from video.  Hope you get to see it, great fun.

Two excellent British movies by two of my fav directors; Kes & All Or Nothing
+ Transformers  :-[ ;)
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

QuoteThe last movie I saw in theatre was Derailed, only because Walk The Line was sold out and it's thirty miles to a theatre from where i live.  It's Obviously not worth seeing.  Some of  my favorite movies are Apocalypse Now, Godfather 1 &2, any Marx Bros.  Basically good funny or slow dramabut I can pretty much sit through anything.
30 miles from a theatre.....is that by horse and buggy...damn ;D ;D
the fruit bats love makin' made all the kids cry

Yeah, that's likely to be my top 3 right there.  I'm as big of a Seth Rogen and Micheal Cera fan as I am of Michel Gondry.   :o

Jaimoe

Fractured - with Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling. It was better than I expected.

Hot Fuzz - not as good as Shaun Of The Dead.

Tree

The Waterboy for the 5th time. Still one of my favorite Adam Sandler movies!

Over the past week or so:

Lost in translation--very amusing low key Bill Murray  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

High Sierra--Bogart is too cool  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

TX Chainsaw Massacre The Beginning--MEH   [smiley=thumbdown.gif]

Click--Henry Winkler, Chris Walken, Adam Sandler=very funny [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
Sittin' here with me and mine.  All wrapped up in a bottle of wine.

i enjoyed click, but it seemed like two different movies.  the first part was very funny and the second part was very dramatic.  i would've rather it stayed funny.  but it's definitely worth a watch.

but that "kicker" part at the end when he connected with his father made all the sad and dramatic seem bittersweet and worthwhile to me....... :)

IHL

The Hoax -with Richard Gere and Alfred Molina

Very good indeed

Jaimoe

Disturbia - it's only good if you are too young to have seen all the movies it rips-off.

IHL

Saw Eagle vs Shark last night.

Has had mixed reviews, but I thought it was pretty funny.
