QuoteDon't knock empanadas either, red. They are a popular snack/meal from Argentina.
Never heard of them, they look pretty interesting.

Just had some baked cheese on crackers (bad idea, but so tasty) and am now having a fruit smoothie with bananas, raspberries, strawberries, vanilla yogurt, orange juice and honey.

:D

Toasted peanut butter and Nutella sandwich.  I've never tried the stuff (Nutella) until a week ago, and now I'm hooked.

So my boyfriend is from someplace in Kentucky and the closest big city is Cincinnati. He's been blathering on for months about how good Cincinnati Chile is.  His mom finally sent us a package with two cans of Starlight Chile in it.  We ate it for dinner last night.  It was DELICIOUS!!!! ;D
(Note: we didn't use nearly this same amount of cheese...mostly because, well, look how much they use!!!!!)

Chili Mac is truly truly de-lic-ious. If you go to Cinci, you have to eat some there and yes you have to have that much cheese.

Kory

Skyline Chili would have to be the Cincy straunt where that Chili is from... Twas good stuff for sure, wish they had a vegetarian version.

I LOVE me some Cincinnati chili.  My dad's house was acroos the room from the first Skyline Chili outside of Cincy (Middletown's just down the road)  I grew up on the stuff and still crave it from time to time.  For some reason, it doesn't seem like the Louisville franchises hold up to those in Cincy.  maybe it's something in the air/ water.  I didn't realize that other people didn't know about it until I was in my teens and heard someone talking about it on Letterman and the audience was like "ewww"  Good shit.  Copius mounds of cheddar cheese are recommended!

gold star is better than skyline, but i like them both.  however, don't buy that shit in your grocer's freezer.  it tastes nothing like the hot fresh version.

the canned skyline ain't bad.  i have to disagree with gold star.  it's spicier, i think, and it gets the job done, but you gotta go with skyline!

Indeed. I saw that in a recent study of the 50 biggest cities in the US, Cincinnati was the second most unhealthy. Skyline Chili alone is probably the reason for that. ;)
