You didn't notice the two different strike zones that were being used that night?   I've never seen it so bad.   Don't make me cut and paste film cause I will!

Yeah, who knew the batters box you happen to be standing in was the actual strike zone? New to me.

What did the home plate ump do in Game 4?

Are you kidding me?! He just sat back there and watched Holland pitch a shutout, that's all! What a crook!!!  ;D
Holland's moustache could throw any man off their game, even a home plate ump.  Personally I think the zone wasn't that bad and sometimes the Fox Tracker doesn't account for movement from a lefty vs. a righty pitcher and why an ump chooses to give say, 'more room for a cutter in on righties' hands'...clearly the answer

Hey, where were you guys in Game 3 when the ump missed the easy call at 1st where Napoli clearly tagged the Cardinal when pulled off 1st by Kinsler's throw?  It led to a 4 run inning.  Who knows what would have happened if the call was made correctly

I actually didn't see any big disparities between strikezones, but post the film if you'd like BH. ;D The bottom line was that Holland pitched really well and Jackson didn't. The Cardinals offense also did very little to help.

How is the offense going to help when the pitches are 6" off the inside of the plate and the ump still gives them the black on the outside of the plate?

Jackson only gave up three hits on the night.   The problem was he walked 7 batters BECAUSE HIS STRIKE ZONE WASN'T THE SAME AS HOLLANDS!

What's everyone's opinion on the dugout interview with Holland in game 5.   It was mildly entertaining (Can't everyone do a Harry Carry and Arnold Shwarzenegger impression?) but out of place in my opinion.   How bad would it look if the Cardinals would have pushed a few of those runs over in that inning while Holland's over ther yuckin it up with Buck?  I would have been pissed if I was a Rangers fan.

I had my fingers crossed that Holliday would hit a homer during that segment.

So Dave, are we going to get the game in tonight.  What's the weather looking like?
There's Still Time.........

BH

There's a 60% chance of rain around first pitch but then it tapers off quickly.  If I had to guess it will be game on.

I feel like it would've been way funnier and more appropriate if Edwin Jackson had done them.  ;D

I don't know Dave, I'm not in the same place as you with this Series, but I understand your position on the Game 4 strikezone(s?). Holland just was the better pitcher though, and the Rangers still win the game even if Jackosn gets the equal strikezone (assuming they weren't equal to begin with  ;)). Jackson was just not that sharp. Holland was.

I'll stop writing about this, because I know I won't change your mind. Cheers BH! Here's to hoping for a Game 7!

Sorry I never notices some supposed torso to head ratio. I was too busy staring at (read:drooling) that luscious ass. Take those Nautica bottoms steep them and make a tea out of it. I'd be the first in line.
