I'm still here.  They are there.  I want to be there.

I'm about to hop in my car and drive over there just to watch them set the stages up. Ants in my pants is an understatement, and I've been having to chew up 5 benadryl every night just to sleep. I also have MMJ-induced TMJ.

Tomorrow is going to go by sooo slooow.
Hey Doc, are you camping tomorrow or coming in Friday?  Clearly it's an epic ride for you and all.. ;)

HEY man, it's a hellish 3 hours filled with lush Louisiana/Mississippi pines that give way to sugar white Alabama beaches...you should count yourself as lucky that you only have to hop on a plane and fly there.

I'm driving up early Friday morning  ;)

Is there any chance they won't debut new stuff from Circuital here?  Or will they just play Circuital, Black Metal, and Wonderful?  Some bands are weird about playing new music before their record comes out.

Penny, don't get tooooo excited about Waffle House

Ohhh get excited.

Double order of hashbrowns smothered and covered.  Two eggs scrambled.  One waffle.  $3.21

Being drunker than ever but having the staff act like you are the nicest customer they have ever had.   Priceless.

Wow, everyone that grows up anywhere near the south has a stock WH order.  Mine:  A Pecan Waffle (it is pronounced P - Can, as in I "can" eat a waffle, not P - CON as in I'm an ex - "con"), a side order of grits, an order of bacon (they cook it with a flat iron on top so it stays long, thin, and crispy), and hash browns scattered, smothered, and covered.  Best ordered at 2 a.m. and almost as drunk as that napkin-eating guy.  Crumble some of the bacon into the grits along with some of that mystery butter-like substance that they provide for general food-lubrication and then coat with enough salt and pepper to provide some crunch.  Eat as fast as you can and don't venture more than 30 seconds away from from facilities at any time.  Enjoy!

Brilliant Soup ;D. When I order that, should I say pee can extra loud?  I've been told I've been to a Waffle House twice.  Once after a wedding in Orlando (where we stole a golf cart and drove around the golf course at 2 in the morning) and after a bar crawl in Frederick, MD.  I've been told I enjoyed my Waffle House.

Love the Awful Waffle! My stock order just changed: I will now be adding the bacon to my covered grits (formerly chunked, or possibly both when liquored up) that go with my waffle (no pee cans, plz). You gotta have cheez in those grits!

Yes, nothing like crime, booze, and the Waffle.  I just can't get into cheese in my grits for some reason.  Hope all have a splendid time in the finest corner of our fair country.  Jealous to the bone.

Do we know for certain if there'll be any kind of webcast?  I thought I saw iClips was going to carry Hangout Fest.

http://iclips.net/

Site says they'll also carry Mountain Jam, fwiw.

Was anyone planning on capturing any video and/or audio from this?? It'd be greatly appreciated if so!

They still haven't released which shows will be broad casted  >:(

I predict you will hear Circuital, Wonderful, maybe Black Metal, Victory Dance, hopefully First Light, Slow Tune, and Day is Coming.  We shall see...

Enjoy, you lucky bastards and bastardesses!

out go the lights it begins

Can't believe the day is here!  Can't believe the view from our condo....staring at the gulf on this lovely morning, getting ready to take a stroll down the beach to check out the stage set up.

Thanks you to all the forum members for the awesome anniversary cake! This is the way to celebrate!!!  Beach, best band, friends, yummy southern seafood, and plenty of beer! Oh, and did I mention that the hot tub last night was nothing short of sublime. Except for when the kid on E decided to jump off the wall into it.  Sheesh, that was frightening.

Trish-  We are there with you in spirit! (although I wish I was there in body too), Soak it all in and have a blast!

We need to get this documented.   Are there any aspiring film makers in this crew?  I'm serious.   Some video updates, or even picture updates for this entire weekend would make my day.   Not during the show.  Just for all the other stuff I'm missing.   Trish, you have already painted a wonderful picture to get me started.   Hot tubs.   Cakes.  Strolls on the beach.  OH MY!

As Jim would say.   EEEEEEEE!
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

So I decided to come on down and get in line and I am the first person in the left line. Mmj is currently soundchecking. Just heard holdin on to black metal and they r currently playing something I don't know but I haven't listened to the new album yet. The first words were blue sky though...looks like we will b getting new tunes after all!

AWFUL NEWS.   There goes my Friday night.   I wish there was at least a webcam at the forum condos.

I love STS9, but I agree with the BOOOOO. However, my state of Circuital virginity will be able to remain pure because of this. I would totally watch a webcam of the condos, though!  :D
