Jebus, John. ISM? Meddle? Ziggy Stardust? You're my musical soulmate.

Although I'd probably take Okonokos just because it has more songs on it.
We understand it's the '90s.

Found this article this evening: http://www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2009/08/catching-up-with-my-morning-jackets-jim-james.html:

"I used to lay on my bedroom floor in high school coming down from acid with my fingers stuck in a Dairy Queen ice cream cake with Life cereal poured into it like a real bowl of cereal and just cry my eyes out while listening to "Tin Man" or "Lonely People." There was a phase in my life where I was exploring the more psychedelic side of life, and man, the nighttime would be filled with wild whipping metal music and pure-grain fruit punch and chaos and metal jaw-biting, spine-tingling mental confusion"

Jim, keeping it crazy.
Babe, let's get one thing clear, there's much more stardust when you're near.

A thank you to fans - SFGate

QuoteIt's so amazing to me and so cool to me that people want to hear these songs," James says. "We're fans, too, so we just try to not forget that, what do we want to see when we go to a show? So we try to put every ounce of energy and passion that we have into every show and try to do our best to let the fans know how much we appreciate them coming out and buying records. It really, truthfully, honestly does mean a lot to us.

Did anyone see that thing on Consequence of Sound talking about new Jim music on the show "The Boss"? I'm on my phone so I couldn't get the full effect. There may be a link to listen to the song.

The complete answer to this question is pretty cool IMHO as well as the entire interview.

Not only is his music great but when you read or see his interviews, Jim is as articulate, and thoughtful as any musician out there today.

In early June 2011, after filing a handful of trademarks for his cloud-based service idea, Young traveled to the Bonnaroo Festival to perform with Buffalo Springfield. While he was there, he invited fellow musicians into his Cadillac for a Pono demo, including members of Mumford & Sons and My Morning Jacket, and videotaped their reactions for a potential marketing campaign.

"Neil's premise is cool, and I think it's exciting as a traveling musician," My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James tells Rolling Stone. However, he adds a caveat: "I think that's somewhere that he has to be careful: I've already bought Aretha Franklin's 'Respect' a lot of times. Do I have to buy it again?"
