I'm the biggest Pearl Jam fan on the face of the earth and if MMJ covered them I would like it to be....In My Tree or Immortality.

That is the one song they've done that I really don't like.  It's fun live with the crowd interaction, but I was really sad PJ covered it.  It's thier biggest radio hit to date, and it was originally recorded for some benefit album or something, the band had no idea it would catch on.  If the song had remained the oddity that it was originally intended to be I might like it more, but I get frustrated hearing people request the worst song Pearl Jam ever recorded because it was this big radio hit.  If MMJ covered it I would literally cry.  Although I agree with Sal MMJ could cover it much better than PJ.

I would love to hear something by The Band, especially The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down or Twilight, Rag Momma Rag or Across the Great Divde.

Yeah, man, something by The Band would be awesome...I was thinking "The Weight." I'd also like to hear a covers of "Norweigan Wood," "Suite Judy Blue Eyes," "Lovesong (even though 2758743219751 other peole have covered it)," and "It Ain't Me, Babe."

"Angie" heard it tonight on the radio and i think it be shweet!

primushead

I think "Hey Hey, My My" by Neil Young would be incredible.  I think Jim's voice would be nice for that song.

There are two great songs by The Chamber Strings called "Telegram" and "Dead Man's Poise" that would be amazing.

I'd love to hear MMJ whip out some old school Metallica. Something along the lines of Hit The Lights of the Four Horseman. Only they could MMJ-ify it. I don't know, might be a little taboo to pull off a Metallica cover, especially since it would be better than the original and Lars would probably try to sure them for it.

I'd LOVE to hear "Unfaithful Servant" from The Band.  I think Jim's vocals would really do that song justice :)
Sittin' here with me and mine.  All wrapped up in a bottle of wine.

This would be a killer set closing song.

Umm...something by the Flaming Lips, just because I'd like to see them pull off something wierd. Like that song Spiderbite I think its called.

Cant think of anything else right now.

Oooh, killer choice with Tomorrow Never Knows, that oen would be amazing. I think they could defintely pull off some Lips, but I think maybe Turn it On or When Yer Twenty-Two, or especially Slow Nerve Action (with those huge frickin drums) or Bad Days (I could go on forever) would be right up their alley. The newer stuff not so much, as it tends to be extremely Lips-y, and I think that only the Lips could do those, just because its so signature. No disrespect to Jim and the boys, but I woudl only want to see the Lips perform anything off of Yoshimi Or The Soft Bulletin, simply because those are masterpieces,a nd they are the geniuses who created them. Shame they aren't also gonna be at bonnaroo this year.
