Great post Penny!!!  :)

Sparkle & I just wanted to say thank you personally to all the amazing people we met last week.

I've been a fan for a few years now (since 2002 when AT & TF got their first official UK releases) & started lurking on the forum not too long after ISM came out, finally finding the courage to start posting on the eve of Z's release.

I've made some good friends here over the years & seeing the jacket in the US & meeting you all in person has been a dream of mine for a long time now. Needless to say say T5 was an incredible experience & finally getting to meet you all in person was very much a part of that.

Sunday came around way too fast & when it dawned (ouch!) on me that we were flying home that day, not going to McGee's to see you all & then on to a show I felt really, really sad.

So cheers again everyone for making our trip so amazing, especially Rukus for getting us the tickets (sorry we messed you about so much) Penny for organising things, our balcony buddies Wiz & AJ - two of the nicest people we've ever met! My man in Japan Darkglow & Capt 'my Traps hurt!' Heady, BH (the best stubbly kiss I've ever given!) Kevin & Stephanie, Sweatboard & his wife, Ghosts 'dodged a bullet' On TV, Todd & Christie (we didn't get to say goodbye, I don't know your user name - please PM me) Kentucky & Daniel (same, please PM me) ALady (as nice in person as she is on the forum!) Yvon (your stickers are priceless!) Soulshine, Ravi The Chief, KY, Sticky, Jeff, Eric, Ralph, Monkeyboy, Twofingers, Walterf, Danz (didn't get to say hi but you are fake Bob Dylan!) NovaLova (how tall?!) The Bear from Germany, Haldon, Joe the Fireman...

Sorry if I missed anyone/didn't get get chance to say Hi. We fucking love you guys & miss you all  :'( :'( :'(
God will forgive them. He'll forgive them and allow them into Heaven.....I can't live with that.

So yeah, pretty much what everyone else said. I loved hanging out with all of you guys, catching back up with some and meeting some for the first time. All of you are amazing and I am thankful. ALL of the shows. Hanging out with the band and Johnny  for that long and seeing for myself that they all are pretty much the nicest dudes on Earth (I met Jim in 2006, and he was just as nice). The tailgate in the middle of Manhattan.  ;D  HOW THE GODS KILL!!! Yeah, fucking awesome week. Could of did without the Murder in the diner though.

i heard about that! did you post the story?

I had a T3 experience (the last 3 nights), and it was the coolest concert experience of my 33 years. It was a full blown MMJ musical...with all the characters one would expect in a NYC performance. Holy shit...we saw/heard Tommy sing...wow.

The best thing about my time at T5 (besides the music) were you guys; every night when I got dropped off by myself in front of the venue I knew exactly where to find everyone...center floor, from the rail to about 15' back. It was completely cool to have such a group of friends right next to me to experience this blur. The floor at T5 was an ocean during the shows, but we were always looking out for each other: I would swim out of the crowd to go get a drink and when it was time to swim back (against the current) I knew you guys would through me a line to get back to our friendly life raft that was floating in the middle.

I am also completely grateful to MMJ; I can only thank them and offer my eternal love for them and what they do. This last week has to be extremely emotional for a group of guys like MMJ; they had to go down roads (songs) that they have not been down in years. I could feel that some of these roads were smooth and easy, but also that some were rough, bumpy memories that stirred up past spirits. I am sure as we are looking back at last week and catching our breath, that the boys are doing the same. I have never felt so close to a group of musicians and their fans.

It was nice to meet so many cool people in one place for one thing...My Morning Jacket.

And I did proof reading this >:(  ...Ruckus :P
