OK, LSU has 4th and 1 on the 6, down 24-21 with 2:15 left in the game, and they go for it? And make it?

Probably one of the best football games I have ever seen.

SEC football.

Angry Ewok

That was the National Title game, folks.

Awesome matchup.
--- and that's 2 real 4 u.

So USC lost and LSU pulled it out. Now there's absolutely no question about who the #1 team in the country is.

That LSU-Florida game was one helluva game. Best game I've seen in quite some time.

I still can't believe that Stanford pulled it out.  There's gonna be some major shakeups in the polls this week.

Go Buckeyes!  That was an impressive victory against undefeated Purdue.  They came into the game as the Big Ten's number one offense and OSU shut them out.

I wouldn't go that far. Really interested in seeing how Cal's season pans out. I'm just glad Michigan and Notre Dame won't be taking up valuable BCS space this year. Hopefully Ohio St will be exposed too, so we can have a real national championship game this year.

Already thinking of how great a playoff would be.  ::)

NU/MO was the worst fucking game I have seen (from a NE native). I have NEVER seen that team look that awful and uninterested in even playing. Taking nothing away from the Tigers as they came to kick someone's ass and they did. I ended up tuning the game out somewhere in the 2rd quarter. I will not be watching any Nebraska games for a while as I am so disgruntled with this god awful team and this horrible coach. He is uninspiring and it shows in the players. They just do not care if they win or lose. I think this little bullshit 3 year experiment needs to end. The West Coast offense is not working and it is not and never will be expected in the state of Nebraska. I know the glory years of Osborne are gone, but jesus, how the hell do you go from one of the greatest games ever (NU/MO with the Catch) to this fucking horrible horrible team in 10 years. Solich wasn't that bad of a coach. Bring him back, or someone else who isn't going to shit all over the legacy of Nebraska football.

End of rant.

Teo- PM me the address and your coffee will be there by the end of the week. I'm assuming whole bean, leaded will be your preference.

Don't you just love the rewarding of mediocraty. The AD & Chancellor were the ones who wanted the change, no one else did. They for some reason hated Solich and wanted to "update" NU football for better recruiting. yeah that has succeeded.  I find the Option and I formation more exciting then incomplete pass after incomplete pass, but that may be because I grew up with the Option. I mean come on, can anyone honestly say any QB that Callahan has had is better/more productive then Tommy frazier, Scott Frost, Eric Crouch or anyone before them? sigh I'm just going to watch my 3 90's National Championship DVD's and be thankful I'm not back at home as I do not think I could take the amount of press this is going to get.

Angry Ewok

Does anyone play a Wishbone formation, anymore?

BH, this weeks matchup is looking like it could be an epic battle. ;)  I'm going to say I'm fairly nervous after you guys just steamrolled Nebraska.  We've got to find a way to keep Chase Daniels bottled up.  Any friendly wager you want to make it a little more interesting?

It will be very interesting. It's gonna be tough for us on the road but I feel like we actually have a chance, which is saying a lot for us!   I'm actually hoping we meet twice this year!

I would be glad to make a friendly wager, but I can't think of anything good right now.  Any ideas?

While plenty of other match-ups have an immediate interest, I'm looking at the Alabama @ Ole Miss game to be one of the more meaningful for the SEC... While I'm expecting a sloppy (but not a nail-bitter) win on Bama's part, what I'm hoping for is to witness this Crimson Tide team get its ass in gear and put up ridiculous points on the Rebels - just to embarrass them. It shouldn't be beyond Nick Saban to run up the score on an opponent. Our boys are not displaying the mean streak that I think is going to be necessary to keep from being embarrassed by the likes of Tennessee, LSU, and Auburn.

If Alabama can ignite its offense this weekend, beit by a new quarterback (not the answer, if you ask me), or by making use of Jimmy Johns, we will be in better shape to defeat LSU than anyone else on the schedule.

I'm still saying 8-4... for my prediction to be correct, we'll upset one of those three (if we can beat Ole Miss, first, ugh).

say what you want; to me, this is the most important game of the year

what are you talking about? maybe we can distract the rebel defense with jp's ridiculously boyish good looks....

Uh Brad, I'm not sure how a sandwich is going to help in this situation.

I recommend a number 12 but I still don't think it will help your team.  But it certainly couldn't hurt.

Angry Ewok

Our current #12 has something like a 50 percentile completion rate, how well does the Jimmy John Sandwich pass? We're looking for a smooth consistency.

TEO, I recieved my package today.  Sweet.  I am taking it as a good omen, on this special day.  The day that MIZZOU leaves Norman, OK, sparing only the women and children, and becomes the team to beat, not only in the Big XII, but the entire NCAA.
