Just popping in to give props to Kentucky... they've snuck into the Top 15, which is pretty remarkable, considering it is Kentucky. Unfortunately, they're about to take a good four or five quality losses by the year's end.

Also... Alabama, despite the media's bias, is still listed in the Top 25. We're at #22 in the Nation, Georgia's rank before the OT win. I actually like Alabama's chances to end the season ranked better... we'll see.

Louisville is finally off the charts... If they ever build a defense, they'll be scary.

No sign of Notre Dame on the charts for some reason? I predicted they'd go 0-4 before their first win, but I also gave them a 6-6 year overall... Obviously, I was being way, way too generous. Anyway... Am I the only one who cracked up at seeing Regis giving a pep-talk to the "Fighting" Irish? Michigan gets the Gladiator, the Cinderella Man, and all Notre Dame can find is Regis?

Oh yea, and Oklahoma looks real good. Lookout for Texas, though... they've been sucking hard this year and sneaking out with close calls - they may feel a little more urgency to prove their manhood up against the Sooners.

thanks for the shout out Angry ;)  If Texas beats us....words can't even express how I will feel.  Tough loss to Georgia, that crowd looked like it was going crazy all night.  Good luck with the rest of that tough SEC schedule

Last night, the #18 ranked South Florida Bulls (the "never heard of 'em" boys) somehow beat the sound, but over-rated, #5 West Virginia. Very, very impressive win on USF's part, even if WVU was more of 10th place team. Big kudos to those guys for playing totally out of their class and winning.

#1 LSU and Tulane are having a picnic or something, today... Apparently, these two have an in-state rivalry? Considering Tulane hasn't won said rivalry in over 20 years, coincidentally the last time it beat a ranked team, it's hard not to consider this a BYE week.

#3 USC is scheduled to humor someone, somewhere. I'll pick whoever the fuck that is, to totally upset USC... and I don't even know who it is.

...and the game that the entire world is waiting to see...

#22 Alabama at Florida State

FSU bothers me, here... They aren't that great of a team, certainly nowhere near as good as Georgia. Still, since before the season I've had this game circled on the calender as one of those, "Don't talk too much smack" days. Of the grayscale games that really bothered me as totally unpredictable, this was the last of the three where I was reluctant to chalk it up as an easy win (the other two were #16 Arkansas and #22 Georgia).

I'm thinking Alabama is going to be set to redeem itself, even though they were far from shamed last week, but the boys will show a newfound tenacity that'll make Bobby Bowden proud.

One thing to keep an eye on - the Bama line is hell-bent to get some sacks, as they've been a total let down so far. They really had an eye on Georgia's QB, but never really got to him... so this is where the linemen may finally be able to exercise their frustration.

Totally out of their class? Last year the Bulls went to Morgantown and beat West Virginia and earlier this year they beat Auburn at Auburn. They have a good team.

What is the Deal with LSU's offensive line today?   The Tulane Green Wave has gotten more pressure on the quartback today than Tennessee's defense has gotten in the last three seasons combined.

I think Sylvester Croom might have just officially lost his job with that punt, there were 3 min. left and he was only down by Ten.  WTF!!

I want to throw up :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/  Give credit to Colorado, their defense is pretty stout.  We just looked like we were playing not to lose.

Now if you will excuse me I've got a case and a half to polish off. :-[

Yeah, that was a pretty intense game.

Gotta give props to the kicker for the 45 yard, clock expiring game winner.

I can only hope that USC receives a similiar upset.

Kory

I know nothing of foosball but i hope all your favorite teams win and all your wildest dreams come true!

You won't find many people who will name USF in the same class as West Virginia, or even Auburn. Take a look at Boise State the year before last, it's the same thing.

I think they've proven their in the same class as WVU, two years in row, no matter what "many people" say.

As far as the FSU / Bama game goes... I was pretty surprised at how boring the whole game was for the first three quarters. I don't know what's going on with Bama's offense, but if they played the first three quarters the same way they've played the fourth, we'd probably be undefeated.

Maybe Saban should play a different quarterback until the fourth quarter - as poor JPW doesn't seem to do much until he's only got a good minute or two left to redeem himself. For a minute there, I was seriously thinking we'd come back from 14 and actually see Overtime, again.

We even had the onsides kick, but poor Jimmy Johns' helmet clipped the ball before the 10 yards rule... I could almost taste a comeback.

Coaching, once again, was solid, in my opinion. I can't help but be very optimistic about our future... including this season, believe it or not.

Yeah Croom has had until next year for a few years now.  They aren't bad this year but much like Tennessee it seems like they have to play perfect football to win.  Mississippi State is never going to be good no matter who their coach is anyway.

Auburn just played a PERFECT half of football but Florida hasn't even started to warm up on offense yet.  Florida will come out and score about 30 points in the second half.  For some reason they really start slow on offense.
