I'm from AL too. The Titans are my number one team, but they've been a trainwreck the last couple of years. Lots of talent there, they just need to get it together.

HUGE Game, It's like back to back Super Bowls IF we win.  I'm kinda glad the Bears are getting no respect at home. The Pack is favored by 3 and I agree with it.  It will put a chip on there shoulders.   The playing surface is completely garbage and should be somewhat of an advantage to the Bears, being that they played on the same field the week before.  I'm not gonna lie,  I'm scared the Pack is gonna come in a kick Cutlers ass. The Packs Defense is really good.  If they can get to Cutler and knock him around I think the old interception throwing Cutler will be back.  I just hope the O line doesn't get complacent or big headed after playing a weak Seattle D.

This is for you Packer Fans  ;)

At this point, though, I'm not sure who I want to win.

Well, seeing that I don't have any hats in the ring, I'm not really sure who I would want to win either.

As far as the AFC goes, my feelings on the Jets are the same as Tracy posted earlier.  I really can't stand Rex Ryan and his ego and because of this, I really can't stand the Jets either.  I can't stand the Stillers because I'm from Ohio and can't stand anything about Pittspuke.  So, I can't see any outcome that would make me happy coming out of the AFC Championship.

As for the NFC, I love the city of Chicago and I'm a huge Cubs fan, but I've never really been a fan of da Bears.  But I've never really disliked them either.  I can't say the same as far as the Packers go, although I can say my dislike for Green Bay has diminished since Brett Favre left that franchise.  I do think it would be kind of ironic that the Bears would be knocked out of the playoffs by a team that they could have eliminated from the playoffs in the last week of the season!  But I still would like to see Da Bears win and then go on and kick the ass of whoever makes it out of the AFC in the Super Bowl!

Maybe Colin Cowherd will STFU now and give Aaron Rodgers the respect he deserves!

I had to quit listening to that dude; like fingernails on a chalkboard (do people still use chalkboards?)

I can't stand him either but he is good at getting the ratings.  I don't get ESPN well in my car so I don't listen to him often.  Since I'm home on Monday days, I'll sometimes watch his show on ESPNU so I can talk about him with my buddies who are always in a tizzy over something he said.

I honestly dont know how Howlin Cowturd actually has people who enjoy listening to him, let alone why ESPN thought giving him a TV show was smart. Sportsnation is like a dumbed down ATH that has Cowturd yelling about polls you can already vote on/see on ESPN.com...I gotta think Beadle is the only reason people watch that show, but she certainly isnt enough to get me to watch. His radio show is even worse IMO because his opinions/stances are usually ridiculous, unsubstantiated, and all around terrible just to stir the pot. Good chance he's my least favorite ESPN employee, its a coin flip between him and Doris Burke.

I know some people dont like Jim Rome, and I can understand why, but I find his radio show to be one of the most entertaining and interesting shows Ive ever heard. Usually his stance is pretty spot on as well. The 'clones' and callers schtick can be overdone at times, but I still get a laugh out of it and its part of what keeps his show entertaining. I also think he's very good at interviews.

Rome and Scott Van Pelt's radio shows are hands down my 2 favorite on ESPN. I think SVP is just solid all around and the most relatable for me of any of their hosts. I also gotta say I cant tolerate Mike and Mike for more than like 10 minutes at a time anymore. Their schtick has def gotten old and theyve just become charicatures of themselves. Their actual sports coverage, conversations, and debates feel like theyre catered to 13yr olds and I have no idea why theyre so popular.

Pittspuke?? Come on now ILB, you can do better than that. That doesnt even make any sense. That would be like me calling Cleveland something like Clevepoo.

I think GB will win, but I hope CHI wins because I think we matchup better vs them, much better. Chicago definitely tried to keep GB out of the playoffs in week 17. If Im CHI, its probably more rewarding to knock GB out of the playoffs more than anyone else since theyre rivals, but if GB wins, CHI has no one to blame but themselves - twice. Barring a Steelers victory, Id like to see Rodgers and the Pack win it all. Favre leaves to win a SB somewhere else thanks to his own doing, and in his final year in the NFL, his former team wins it all and instead of Farve going out on top like Elway or something, the year will be remembered as the ascension of Aaron Rodgers.

OK. I have never seen so much gloating about a 2nd Round playoff win in my whole life.
Didn't the Jets make the AFC title game last year? So the Jets are back in the title game but the'yre acting like they just won the freaking Super Bowl. Am I missing something? I really don't get it.  :-\

Tracy, it's probably because no one expected them to win. I really don't think anyone had them pegged to beat the Pats this weekend, especially after the beating that they got the last time around.

I mean, I get that. But they beat the Pats earlier in the year and the Pats didn't get out of the first round last year while the Jets went to the title game. Just seems a little odd to be freaking out so much and you're not even to the Super Bowl yet. Plus, all that crap Ryan was saying how it was "him v Belechick" but once the game was over he said he got out coached, when I thought it was obvious that he out coached Belechick. It's just bizarre.

Now, not a lot of people thought the Packers weren't going to beat Philly or Atlanta and they laid waste to both of those teams, but you didn't really see the Packers losing their minds after Saturday's game.

All we can do now is look back on the week and say maybe the Jets shenanigans really did work.  All of Ryan's behaviors stem from his insatiable to need to throw other teams off mentally using odd tactics.  I don't think the jibber jabber will be close to as heated as this past week was.

As far as Bart Scott goes, though sadly I acknowledge that his child like emotional outburst was actually legit, I still can't stand that interview and how it represented the Jets as a team.  Bart Scott is a really nice dude who I've met in B'more before but he has impressive emotional peaks and valleys.  Hey Murph, I know you're a Jets fan.  You actually liked that interview?

Like I said earlier, I think it's a shame that Ryan is creating as many enemies as fans but goddamnit if it ain't working!  This should be one hell of a game in Pittsburgh.

A very lukewarm congrats to you Steelers fans.  I had a lot of issues with that game and I feel for my Ravens' fan friends.  BUT, I give credit for the big play down the sideline on that huge 3rd down.  Going for it takes balls and though the Ravens were a disgrace in letting anyone get behind them, it was still a hell of a play.

What issues did you have with the game?? We made a hell of a comeback in the 2nd half. Forced TO's and made Flacco look bad as usual, sacked him 5 times. Roethlisberger made a ton of clutch throws. We held Flacco to 125 yards passing and a 61.1 passer rating, Rice to 64 total yards and under 3 YPC. I didnt expect us to win on a TD that was set up by a 60yd pass on 3 & 19, but the way the game was going I thought we deserved to win and expected us to.

Congrats on the Jets...I cant remember the last time Ive had so much joy and happiness watching a non-Steelers game. As Ive always said, get pressure on Brady and he looks pedestrian, which they did today. My boy Tone had easily the play of the game with that TD catch IMO, and great drive by the Jets to get a TD after NE came within 3. Ahh, watching Brady and Belicheck lose is almost better than seeing the Steelers win  :bath:

There are so many things to pick apart in a close game like that just as in any Ravens/Steelers matchup.  I give all the credit to the Steelers for making the plays in the seconds half.  Similarly, the Ravens got conservative offensively and Boldin had that HUGE drop in the end zone.  Of course the one thing that affected the outcome that was beyond the Ravens' control was the officiating.  Say what you will but if the roles were reversed, you'd be pretty damn pissed at the two calls in the 4th quarter on Saturday.  The 1st was the holding call that nullified the punt return for a touchdown.  It wasn't holding.  The 2nd was the defensive holding call on the goal line against the Ravens on a RUNNING play!  If that call isn't made, it's a field goal at best.  Regardless, Jarret Johnson was getting mauled on the same play (actually was a holding) and wasn't called.  Game changing calls.

BUT, you guys made the play when it counted Big Ben seems to always do against the Ravens.  Oh well, it's  my turn now and I know you're nervous.  You hoped for the wrong opponent buddy

I think that's part of my concern, too. That people will think it "worked"; not that the Jets are returning to the title game (returning!) b/c they're a great football team, it's b/c all the jibbering "worked". Then comes the copycat jiberring that will trickle down to the other levels of organized football. Sort of like how Deion Sanders' antics created the likes of TO and Ochocinco.

I don't know, I really don't have a dog in the hunt, but I will be rooting for Hines Ward to win Sunday. Hines Ward...  :-\      Hell, I might even change over to the Jets if they start winning.   ;)

Anyways, I promote some avatar betting with the Jets/Steelers!

I 100% agree with you Tracy. What a joke. For real. They didn't even make it to the Superbowl and they're acting like they won it. Sure the Pats were the favorites, but still, show some class. I was cheering for them to win, but the celebration was a joke, and now I'm cheering for Pitt. Good luck Headdy and True! I'm with yah!  8)

Man you guys gotta get off the hate train.  Green is the color of the grass, the leaves, and Whole Foods Markets.  Bart Scott is an idiot.  He likes to play with the media.  Otherwise, what did the team do?  A backflip?  Yet Ward (though I'd love him on my team) is perennially considered one of the dirtiest players in the league, Harrison the head shot specialist and Roethlisberger?  You're rooting for them to win again?  The most obnoxious fans in the country except for maybe Cowboys fans?

Have at it Walts!  I'll be doing backflips in your yard and you'll see me on youtube screaming, "Walts never gave us a chance but we shocked the world!"

Haha! That would be great! The world is in need of a new Youtube craze. But that's the thing I gave the Jets a chance. They harped from day one that they're the best team in the league. I guess I'm not sure why they seemed so joyful over something that they predicted a long time ago. Look, I'm in Steelers Nation now. We're a great ballclub, and should be a great game.
